Current WA Security Officer License (or Crowd Controller License)

Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid)

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (required for crowd control at licensed venues)

Proof of Australian Work Rights (e.g., Australian passport, birth certificate, or valid visa)

Police Clearance Certificate (within the last 12 months preferred)
Minimum Legal Requirements to Work in the Security Industry in WA:

Hold a current WA Security Officer or Crowd Controller License issued by WA Police Licensing Services.

Hold a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or HLTAID003 minimum standard).

Be at least 18 years of age.

Meet the fitness and competency standards required for security roles.
